About the Exhibition

Eugenio D'Melon and Israel Delmonte, both originally from Cuba, join forces in the exhibition titled “D & D Distillers”. Both artists look at society with a realist, at times, satirical eye. Eugenio D'Melon is a master fine art printer while Israel Delmonte is better known for his drawings and paintings. His work looks at displaced persons who having left their country are torn between their old and their new home and “the loneliness, lost dreams, sequels of a process of adjustment that will never end.”
