The young talent that exists in Jamaica in the visual arts is on display in this exhibition, which is staged on an annual basis. The juried exhibition is open to artists who have less than ten years experience since graduating from an art school or since taking up art seriously for the self-taught artists.

O’Neil Lawrence, winner of the Super Plus Under 40 Competition

O’Neil lawrence was selected as the Jury prize winner of the 2011 Super Plus Under Forty Artist of the Year Competition which he won in the medium of photography. His looks at his own personal struggles to achieve self actualization but is also a reaction to the struggles other Jamaican men face in creating and realizing their own various identities.
